2/8/2012 - Home Invasion

 

 

 

This week St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a home invasion. On February 4, 2012, St. Landry Parish Sheriff deputies responded to a call in the Sunset area of a person breaking into a residence and still inside the residence. Upon arrival, deputies had discovered the suspect had fled the scene. The suspect described as black male wearing dark clothing and a dark mask pointed a black handgun at the victim. The suspect looked through the bedroom asking for money. The suspect got upset when he could not find any money. 1/31/2012 - Residential Burglary

 

This week St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a residential burglary that happened in the community of Grand Prairie, La.   On Wednesday, January 25, 2012, the homeowner at 139 Highway 363, Washington left for work as is done daily. When the homeowner returned around 12:30 pm for lunch it was noted the side door was partially open. Someone came within that short period of time, kicked in the door to gain entry. Once inside jewelry, such as a wedding ring set and two class rings were stolen along with a tan lock box with personal and sentimental documents. Two other residents in that area were also burglarized. Did you see anything that could help apprehend theses thieves? 1/24/2012 - Theft of Utility Trailer

 

 

 

This week St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a theft that happened near Eunice, La.   On January 12, 2012, The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Deputies were called to 4020 Highway 190, Eunice, La, to investigate a theft.   Entry was made by removing a chain that was on a locked gate.  Stolen was an 18 ft dual axle utility trailer, black in color. The trailer was loaded with several joints of four-inch drill pipe 18to 20 feet long. Also taken was a small white refrigerator and a Pole chain saw orange in color. 1/17/2012 - Crime of the Week Theft of Iron Lawtell

This week St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a theft that happened in the small community of Lawtell. On January 6, 2012, St. Landry Sheriff’s deputies were called to Dan Services located at 10140 Prejean Highway, Lawtell in reference to a theft of iron. Video surveillance shows on January 5th 2012, at 9:21 pm two white males parked on the roadway got out of the truck, then loaded Iron that was on the business lot. The truck is described as an older model white regular cab, long wheelbase, possibly a Chevy.  The driver was wearing what appeared to be a grey shirt and pants with a dark jacket and cap. 1/10/2012 - Theft of Boats

This week St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving theft of boats crime. On Monday, January 9, 2012, St. Landry Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at 146 Plum Street in the Three Mile Lake area. Upon arrival, it was discovered two boats with motors had been stolen. The owner stated the boats had been parked in the boat dock. They were  both there at 4:00 pm the day of January 8, 2012. 1/3/2012 - Burglary Cruisers Tavern

This week St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a business burglary that happened near Eunice, La.  On January 2, 2012, St. Landry Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call at Cruisers Tavern, located at 4775 Highway 190, Eunice. Upon arrival, they were notified that someone had broken into the building. Once inside, several bottles of alcohol were stolen. Gaming machines were also damaged. Two televisions were taken from the building and left on the rear parking lot area. Entry was made by breaking the glass on rear door. This week St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a theft that happened in Eunice. On November 30, 2011, St Landry Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call at 257 Threatt, Eunice, La., in reference to a stolen trailer and four-wheeler. Upon arrival it was determined that the owner had a four-wheeler and generator loaded on a utility trailer parked in the yard. Someone apparently backed up to the trailer and stole the whole thing. The trailer was recovered a few days later near the Basile area. The four-wheeler, described as a 2006 Honda 500 Red in color is still missing. This happened between 1pm and 4pm. This week St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a residential burglary that happened near the Lewisburg area.  On November 16, 2011, St. Landry Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call at 625 Jessie Richard Road in reference to a break in. Upon arrival, it was discovered that someone had kicked in the back door to gain entry into the residence.  Once inside closet doors and dresser drawers had been opened.  Jewelry, such as black onyx earrings, sapphire earrings, diamond earrings, diamond and sapphire chains, and a gold solitaire ¼ carat diamond wedding band were also taken. Also missing were St. Landry Homestead and Wood Forest bank account bankbooks. 11/29/2011 - Stolen Four Wheeler

This week St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a theft that happened near Eunice, La.  On November 22, 2011, St. Landry sheriff deputies responded to a call at 1182 Highway 757 in reference to a stolen four-wheeler. According to the owner, the four-wheeler was parked under the front porch the previous night when he went to bed. The next morning, it was discovered that the four-wheeler was missing. It is described as a 2005 Honda rancher, yellow; four wheel drive, valued at around $4800.

11/22/2011 - Residential Burglary

 

This week St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving a residential burglary. On November 4, 2011, St. Landry Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call at 136 Hudspeth Lane, Washington. Upon arrival, it was discovered that someone had gained entry through the front door of the residence. Once inside the whole house had been ransacked. Several items were stolen such as an Hp laptop, Morrow High school ring, two LSU rings, a diamond anniversary band and a Ruby diamond ring.  A Samsung cell phone, Kodak digital camera and a Hawkins muzzle loader was also stolen.
